Before the Army I was directionless and adrift. I never strove to achieve anything and I didn't want anything.
After my time in the service I gained perspective, discipline, and drive.
I know now what is important to me and what is needed from me to achieve these goals and protect what needs protecting. Unfortunately due to injury I was medically retired but I keep the values and discipline engraved into me and will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
