We met at an Army training in Arizona in 2017. Chris was Active Duty and stationed at Fort Bliss, TX. Lauren was in the Minnesota Army National Guard.
We were very fortunate to be able to keep in contact with each other and allow our friendship to grow into a relationship.
In 2018, Chris was deployed to Korea where we would allow our relationship to grow even more regardless of the distance.
Chris was accepted into the Green-to-Gold program to earn his Bachelor's degree at the University of Minnesota while working to become an Officer for the Army. Lauren was planning to be deployed in the Summer of 2020, so we decided to get married at the courthouse on October 31st, 2019. A couple months after we got married, Lauren was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and was told that she would no longer be able to serve in the Army. Lauren is now finishing getting a degree to become a Registered Nurse and will graduate next Summer.
We are so thankful to the Walters Wedding Estates to give us this opportunity to celebrate our marriage with our families and friends!
