LaDwana & Fard

He has always worked with so little but still made a way.
— LaDwana

The love of my life is not just a humble, loving, selfless, incredibly intelligent man. He is a Fighter, a Pilar of Strength, and a Survivor. He has overcome and defied so many odds that it amazes me!

When I see his beautiful smile, and watch as he remains happy, and full of life. He gives me life! He had a hard upbringing, has lived without, and endured the loss of his mother. But yet, he chose a path of purpose. He became a man that other men looked up to, followed, and obeyed.

He gave his whole self, sacrificing his life, every day for years.

The love of my life is a 12 year Military War Veteran and I could not be more proud of him. I am honored to know him, blessed to have him, and overwhelmed with love for him. He has always worked with so little but still made a way.

And even after fighting 12 years for his country, he returned to no welcome parties, no home, and no real road to follow.

No War Veteran like himself should ever know such lack. But, with all that he has learned, going to Pilot School, becoming and Engineer, a Scuba Diver, a Musician... His natural ability and will to live and fight another day were all he needed. This beautiful man of mine can do anything he puts his mind to and can make better, anything he touches...and he has touched me, and my life is now better for him!
